There is a pattern we see both in Scripture and in our world today:
When people forget the Word of God, they begin to mock the promises of God.
The issue is not a lack of evidence. It is a refusal to acknowledge the truth.
As Scripture says, “they deliberately forget.” 2 Peter 3:5
Not accidentally.
Not unknowing.
But willfully.
And when the Word of God is forgotten, three things begin to happen as seen in 2 Peter 3:5-7
Creation is questioned.
Judgment is dismissed.
The future is denied.
We see it all around us.
People argue against the truth recorded in scripture that has stood the test of time.
They reject accountability.
They live as though there are no consequences for how they live.
But the reality remains:
The same Word that created the world is the same Word that governs it.
And the same God who acted in the past will act again.
Sometimes, it may seem like God is silent.
Sometimes, it may feel like He is distant.
But silence is not absence. Delay is not denial.
Even when we do not see it, God is still working.
The challenge for us is this:
Will we forget… or will we remember?
Because when we forget His Word, we lose our confidence.
But when we remember His Word, we find our strength.
So today, make a decision:
Anchor yourself in the truth of God’s Word. Trust what He has said. Stand on His promises.
Because if God has said it, it is settled.
